Twatting about

Time for the latest round of interesting shit on Twitter over the past week or so. First off, Drainland have confirmed that two new split records are in the works with Dublin’s “negative as fuck” hardcore act Crows and Milwaukee’s Enabler. An update on their Tumblr has since read: “We’ll be recording some stuff for split 7”s with Enabler and Crows on October the 8th with Jeeg in the Hive again. This will be recorded live, in one take for maximum harshness.”

David Gold of depressive rockers Woods of Ypres tweeted recently that the band has completed the first song for their next record, Woods 5:

There no other details as to when the album will be released. It will be their first album with Earache Records, after the label reissued their 2009 album Woods 4: The Green Album earlier this year.

And probably the most concrete snippet of news comes from New York hardcore outfit This Is Hell with this tweet:

Hopes are certainly high for the band’s follow-up to last year’s Weight of the World.
